Bank holiday Cotswold fun!

I love bank holidays. That extra day off feels very special. And not just because I worked out I'd only had TWO days off since 10th January!

We kick started this weekend with a trip to Cotswold Farm Park (or Adam's Farm if you watch Countryfile!). We were the only ones there without children but thankfully my boyfriend acts like a child when he gets to these places! He fed the animals and I just laughed at him.

Like most people we enjoyed the sunshine and just relaxed.

Then we headed to Stow for lunch...

Then a drive home past the lovely yellow fields.

Blogged: When in Rome...

Last weekend we celebrated Nick's 40th birthday - yeah, he's old now!

His actual birthday is in January, but as we were just back from Australia it made more sense to celebrate it a bit later. Also, I knew we wanted to go to Rome and asking for more days off felt a bit cheeky!

So last week we headed to Heathrow for a little weekend break to Rome. It kicked off with British Airways offering us some cash to go on a later flight... uh yes please! Hello duty free!
